Even though my computing interests will certainly go beyond the scope of what I want to write here I wanted to describe what interests me and why.

I started my computing career with the simulation of planetary atmospheres (especially earth weather) using very large mainframe supercomputers. The Cray YMP and C90 taught me Unix and since then I never stopped using it.

In my latest endevors, I am interested in technologies that would allow the effective use of electric energy to power up large data centers.
